Our canteen is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and serves a variety of healthy foods. Students may order lunch on these days as well as purchase snacks and drinks.
We follow the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy that uses the red, amber and green menu planner to ensure the food we serve is healthy and fun. The current menu is available from the drop-down above.
The canteen is operated by a part-time manager and a team of volunteers under the direction of the P&C. All funds raised by the P&C are used to support the school, students and the school community.
Volunteers are always needed to join the canteen roster and any help is very much appreciated!
If you would like to assist in the canteen, please email the Canteen Supervisor via canteen@jepspandc.org.au.
Menu
The latest menu is available to download from the drop-down menu bar above.
On the Menu below you will find some home cooked foods like Nachos & Spaghetti Bolognese.
We are hoping to slowly increase these home cooked foods as the year progresses.
One of the new items is Sushi. It’s been requested by many parents in the past, but our early lunch makes it hard to organise. This is why we will take orders on Wednesday, should you wish your child to have sushi on Friday.
Online Ordering – now available!
The canteen only takes online lunch orders. Cash orders will not be accepted. This is to reduce the stress on the volunteers as lunch is really early at JEPS so preparatory time is limited.
You can register at www.quickcliq.com.au and set-up an account.
The kids can still use cash for over the counter sales from 11.10 to 11.20am, after they have had their lunch and on special occasions like Ice-cream Friday (each Friday afternoon at 3pm in Term 1 & Term 4) and special Meal Deals.

Bags and Waste
To reduce waste in the playground, we have reusable insulated bags for sale at the canteen for $15. They will last many years. Should you wish to use paper bags, you can add one to your online order for 20c each time you place an order.
This year JEPS Canteen is going to work very hard to minimise the waste produced by the canteen and the kids. We will be doing more recycling, composting and use more re-usable containers for various lunch items. This might take a few weeks to get going but the results should be a cleaner playground and some very healthy looking chickens and worms!
